More Information
What is a Neuropsychological Assessment?

A neuropsychological assessment is a detailed investigation of your thinking skills, such as memory, attention, and problem solving/judgment.

This information is put in the context of other background information, such as day to day functioning, mood, developmental history and medical history to assess the functioning of the brain.

The results may help your doctor to decide on your medical diagnosis, treatment planning or management, depending on the reason for your assessment.

The results may also help you to understand the reason for any cognitive difficulties, and strategies that may assist you.
